Avery is a special girl that came to us after being found eating trash on the side of the road. She is a total sweetheart that was dealt a crappy start to her life, but we're determined to make the rest of her life better than she could ever imagine.

For a dog that has clearly been abused and neglected, she is still very loving and willing to meet new people. She has met a few different volunteers and vet staff without any big issues. She will let you love on her with a gentle hand.

She tends to jump, and we're working on it, so we think a home with children over 5 would be the best so she doesn't knock any little kids down.

She gets along with dogs and people. She can be cat tested.
